Harvested our Ryan Road vineyard Syrah today. In 14 years this is the earliest I have every started harvesting. The flavors were great, sugar was about 26 brix. The quote of the day came from the tasting room girl here at Domaine Alfred "whats in the box Mike? Blue berries?" Big thanks to Simon Graves (vineyard manager)for hooking us up with smallest cluster Syrah I have ever seen....
